We’re back for 2025! July 4th 9:15pm or when weather permits! The prep and planning has begun. This is truly an event for Marietta residents, businesses, and visitors. Last year we estimated at least 6,000 people just at the Community Bible Church. It is probably safe to say we entertain at least 10,000 people including the surrounding areas. All support to make this happen is warmly appreciated. 
Since this is a community project, one of our measures of effectiveness is how our local businesses succeed. Feedback from everyone is critical if we are to improve and continue. We obviously are not media or public relations specialists, but we do our best to recognize everyone that sponsors and supports us. Please note evidence of this by the many events we participate in above and beyond the show itself. All these events provide opportunity to support other organizations, promote our show, showcase our sponsors, and answer questions from the public. Most items we offer for sale at our booth are donated with all proceeds going to the show.
The 2025 show marks the eighth show under the official name “Marietta Fireworks”. All team members are volunteers. In 2017, we applied and were awarded non-profit status with a 501(c)(3) designation. That doesn’t discount our history, dating back to the late 1950s, but a reminder of how far we’ve come. This is very important to note for those visiting that weekend and to the new people that have moved to Marietta and surrounding areas.
As in years past, festivities at Marietta Community Bible Church start at 4:00. Last year they had 18 food trucks, this year their goal is to have even more. A live band will play before the show, fun games and bounce houses for the kids will be available, and an all-around family good time will be had. Parking is available by donation with all proceeds going to the Marietta Fireworks show, not the church.
Our show is somewhat unique because our audience is all around us and in most cases a mile away or further. War Memorial Park is an ideal viewing area- bring your camera, blankets and chairs. The view from Marietta Community Bible Church on the hill is spectacular. Some of the most breathtaking pictures are from right in Marietta, especially from the square.
It may seem extremely early to many people to promote a fireworks show in July, but there is so much that goes on behind the scenes and much preparation. It is important to know as early as possible the available funds to submit our order.
