Proud Mariettians and history lovers are invited to visit the Old Town Hall Museum at 3 West Walnut Street on Candlelight Tour Day, Sunday, December 4th, from 11:00-5:00.
Admission to the museum is free, and no Candlelight Tour ticket is required.
Among the exhibits that visitors can enjoy in the museum are:
Fire Pumper Engine dating from the 1840s
Civil War and Grand Army of the Republic relics
Holiday themed exhibits including antique children’s toys, “clear toy candy”, and other Christmas displays
A room dedicated Marietta’s importance in vaccine production
An 1800s General Store display
The basement jail cell which was used to hold prisoners in the 1800s
