On Monday June 6 from 4:00-9:00 a special event will be held at McCleary’s Pub in Marietta.
The event will honor a special person in the McCleary’s family, who passed away last June. Brittany Brunner was a general manger at McCleary’s and a childhood friend of REN Off-Grid founder, Carenna Neely. Britty’s BBQ will raise funds to support REN Off-Grid’s efforts to build The Enough Garden in her honor. This garden will begin to lay the foundation for this nonprofit as it works to support families by moving off-grid. REN Off-Grid is building skills to ensure that more people have enough to eat and know that they are enough.
Britty’s BBQ will be a competition among local restaurants and honor a special friend who forgot for a moment that she was enough. Your ticket to this event supports this nonprofit and gives you access to taste and vote for your favorite BBQ!
Get your tickets on Eventbrite by searching “Britty’s BBQ” or in person at McCleary’s Pub.
Tickets are $12 until the event; $15 at the door. There will be live music by Sporting Hill Ramblers, family games, a silent auction with unique items, raffle prizes, and inspirational speakers to remind us all that we are enough.
All donations to this nonprofit will be tax deductible. REN Off-Grid founders Carenna Neely and her wife Charné will be in attendance to share their story and vision for their building their nonprofit off-grid in rural South Africa.
