Pumpkin Adult Slushies – Perfect for Warm Fall Days

This summer was all about the alcoholic slushies to beat the heat. Since Fall in the Susquehanna Valley can still be quite warm, this is a delightful recipe to segue into the new season:
1 jar frozen lemonade concentrate
1 can pumpkin puree
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
4 cups brewed black tea
2 cups Bourbon
Combine all ingredients in a casserole dish and let freeze overnight. Serve as a dessert with spoons or add a bit of tonic or soda water & stir into a slushie drink. Add a straw, perhaps a dash of cinnamon, and enjoy!
