Marietta Community House to Host Annual Dinner and Auction on September 21st

The Marietta Community House is very excited to host the Annual Dinner and Auction on
September 21 st at the Community House. The Dinner and Auction this year is a special one, as
The Marietta Community House is celebrating it’s 100 th anniversary and showcasing it’s two
special buildings during the event.
Titled, “An Evening in the Studio” the Community House will be welcoming guests to purvey
the silent and live auction items while enjoying a cocktail, jazz music, and hors d’oeuvres in the
Studio annex. A served dinner will take place in the House, and upon returning to the Studio,
guests will be part of the fun live auction party with Karl Boltz, auctioneer.

The Marietta Community House board is actively discussing community benefit uses for the
Studio building. The possibilities are endless, but we want to make the right decision for the
community and our neighborhood. The Community House board was thrilled that the Studio
was the venue for the birth of the Susquehanna Stage Company, and are thrilled that they have
outgrown us and continue to thrive and grow in their new home.
Come see what the Annual Dinner and Auction has to offer- vacation opportunities, dinner
experiences, antiques, and unique items. The Community House board can’t wait to show you
what they have done in the Studio. Remember, your support will benefit your community.
