Saturday, July 6 is right around the corner and that means it’s time for bike racing again! As you may remember from past years, the races take place on Front Street, Gay Street, Market Street, and Locust Street. The first race begins 10:45 a.m. and the last race at 4:00 p.m.
If you will be driving anywhere during race hours that day, you are encouraged you to park your car off the racecourse. The race organizers realize that this may pose an inconvenience to many of you and we greatly appreciate your willingness to support this community event.
This year, the hope is to make the race day an even more family-friendly and fun event for the neighborhood. As always, there will be free kids races for ages 4-5 and 7-10. Registration will be located by First National Escape at 100 West Market Street. There will also be bike decorating and other kid-friendly activities in this Kids Zone!
We are excited for this event to happen again in our historic downtown and encourage you to attend the fun activities we have planned that day! Don’t forget the Bike Race will be on the same day as the Marietta Fireworks! After the race there will be fun activities at War Memorial Park!
If you have any questions about the race please feel free to contact Rich Kushner at (717)426-2202 or Rich@Swedishmotors.com
