Marietta Restoration Associates will host the 53rd Candlelight Tour of Homes on Sunday, December 2nd, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eight private homes decorated for the holidays will be open for your pleasure.
In addition to the homes, your ticket will include entry to several historic buildings in Marietta.
The Union Meeting House will feature “Holiday Entertaining” vendors. Come in and view area businesses for ideas to help you to prepare and capture the spirit of the season. At various times in the day you will get to enjoy Christmas music being played by organists Kirk Garner and Ken Krause on the 1841 Knauff Pipe organ located in the gallery of the meeting house.
The Old Town Hall Museum will showcase Antique Children’s Toys.
As you travel through our quaint town, be sure to welcome the Jane Austen Society that will be strolling the streets in period costumes.
The Marietta Community House will host a wine & cheese tasting.
The St. John’s Episcopal Church will welcome you to their 150th year. Stop in their Café and Sweet Shoppe. There will be Organ Concerts with Christmas Carols starting at noon.
Tour tickets are available during the month of November at First National Escape, be sure to
stop in and see this fun venue.
